As demand for increasingly complex beauty and skin therapies grows, ACHW is committed to providing the highest standard of learning to practitioners providing these treatments.

Our latest course, the accredited Undergraduate Certificate in Dermal Interventions, has been developed as a superior alternative to a Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Both programs are designed for industry newcomers and provide a solid foundation in the basics of dermatology, but our Undergraduate Certificate goes a step further.

Not only does it provide students with the opportunity to practise using the latest dermal technology on real patients, it is more affordable than the Diploma and can be completed in a shorter time frame. For the truly ambitious, it also provides a study pathway towards our Bachelor of Applied Health Science.

ACHW’s executive director Candice Heskey was recently interviewed by the Aesthetics Practitioners Advisory Network (APAN), the nation’s fastest growing member-based professional organisation in the Australian aesthetics industry, to speak about this course. They discuss the unique benefits of this course, how it is delivered, and who would be a good candidate to undertake this study.
